Information About Me
I am a lifelong muscian beginning my journey into the world of web development. With decades of combined experience in the field of music and music education, I believe my past success help to inform my future as one who knows who to achieve at the highest possible level.
As a developer, I have enjoyed my studies and wish to make it my full time career! I have completed coursework toward an AS in web and mobile development at Collin College in Plano, Texas as well as self-study online resources such as Codecademy.

Professional classical musician with performance experience in and around Texas as well as Norway.

10 years experience teaching, leading, and organizing public school orchestra programs in grades 4 - 12.

My Timeline
2007 - 2012
Student - Collin College / Texas Tech University
For my undergraduate degree, I studied music performance and music education with a focus in percussion and the double bass primarily at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. My primary instructors were Alan Shinn and Mark Morton.
2012 - present
Musician - Freelance
I have performed the double bass and electric bass with various regional symphony orchestras both in Texas and Norway.
2012 - present
Teacher - Public School
I have worked in public schhols as a professional string orchestra teacher since 2012 working with students in grades 4 - 12. My students have been awarded numerous recognitions for success, including earning 'Superior' ratings in the Texas UIL orchestra CSR evaluations.
2017 - 2019
Student - Oslo Metropolitan University
I completed my Master's Degree in Multicultural and International Education both in person in Oslo, Norway, as well as virtually from Texas. My focus was on access to and quality of music education for students in Texas.
2020 - present
Student - Collin College / Self Study
Most recently, through both individual study as well as Collin College, I have completed coursework toward an AS degree in Web and Mobile Development. Through this initial coursework, I have developd a passion for web development and wish to make it my full time career!
